Botanical name:Heuchera 'Wendy'

Heuchera 'Wendy' belongs to the group of large leaf (H. maxima), native, Heuchera hybrids that prefer, dry, shady conditions. They thrive under native oak trees or in similar situations. Cecile Brunner Rose (polyantha)

Common name:Cecile Brunner Rose (polyantha)
Botanical name:Rosa 'Cecile Brunner'

This climbing rose can grow as tall as 25' with support. It has become one of the most popular roses in cultivation because of its strong display in spring of lightly fragrant flowers that look like tiny, high centered, hybrid tea roses. It is long-lived, disease resistant and tolerates everything from poor soil to partial shade.

Myer's Asparagus

Common name:Myer's Asparagus
Botanical name:Asparagus densiflorus 'Myers'

An evergreen groundcover, the 'Myers' also makes an excellent hanging basket plant when larger in size. Its formal looking fronds have an even, spiral arrangement of leaflets. It is damaged by severe frosts, and looks best with at least occasional watering. -Monterey Bay Nursery

Soils and Compost:

Practice grass-cycling by leaving short grass clippings on lawns after mowing, so that nutrients and organic matter are returned to the soil.

Integrated Pest Management:

Drip and other smart irrigation delivers water directly to roots, allowing no excess water for weeds.
